About the Author

It all began with a dream to help kids learn more about their faith but have fun while they are doing it! These books are written with a heartfelt desire to teach the faith.

As a children’s educator, Michelle Shahid hopes to help children learn about goodness, truth, and beauty through literature.  She strives to give a creative way to help provide a deeper look into ways to live the faith more deeply. As a mother of 6 children, she loves to laugh at some of the silly things experienced in a family setting. Most of all, she loves to challenge them to contemplate the wonders of the faith by discovering little stories that will help them grow in devotion to God.

She earned a Bachelor of Science in Operations Research from the United States Air Force Academy and her Master’s in Business Administration from Colorado State University. She has been married to her husband for over 31 years and her six children bring much joy into her life.

Michelle has taught her children for 20 years. Also, she has been teaching Kindergarten for over 5 years. While teaching, the lessons she learned touched her heart that she longed to share this information with more children!

These books were inspired to teach the faith in a beautiful way so that the students will keep the lessons deep in their hearts. She hopes that these books are inspiring and informative. Always remember that truth, goodness, and beauty will lead you closer to God.
